A.I.

Artificial Intelligence or A.I. is the next step in technology becoming more sentient and helping mankind to solve complex problems at a hyper rate of speed. A.I. is constantly learning from humankind through our use of technology to live, work, play, entertain, inform, collect, and monetize our lives. Now that almost all of mankind has access to technology like never-before, A.I., is learning from all sources, all cultures, all nations, all religions, etc.. A.I. is designed to be our next life long tool that breaks free from the "tool" to become our next companion in life. From the first time your were able to speak into your device and have a response, A.I. has been with us. However, today's A.I. is more informed, more broad spectrumed in where its knowledge comes from. Learning and teaching ourselves about how to use A.I. responsibly is the key. "One person's tool is another person's weapon." this has been the case ever since man has used fire for warmth and then war. Our use of any technology can be perverted to a malicious end. A.I. is not the enemy is the humankinds' use of A.I. that is the enemy. A.I. is here to stay and evolve. Humanity is also here to stay and evolve. Going forward, our futures are dependant on both humans and A.I..

Internal A.I. examples are "Apple Intelligence"; "Co-Pilot"; "Gemini." These are A.I.'s that are embedded in device operating systems and enabling them to interpret the users intent, manage resources, and perform tasks autonomously. So, unlike external A.I. applications, these integrated systems directly manage hardware, improve performance, and enhance security by learning from user data on-device. You may see some of these in ads you encounter during streaming, online or over-the-air (OTA) television.

Examples of external A.I. are: "ChatGPT"; "Perplexity"; "Grammarly", etc.. These are third-party A.I. software and platforms that are integrated into workflows or used independently to enhance productivity, content creation, and analysis of data provided by the user. You may see some of these in ads you encounter during streaming, online or over-the-air (OTA) television.

There are many sites and devices that can introduce you to A.I.. So, you can begin to use, partner with, and help teach A.I. in its early years to be a better companion for the future. This is like parenting in a very real way. So, the first question is, are you ready to be an A.I. Parent? If so, A.I. is watching, listening, and learning from you as a child does.... "like a sponge!" If you own a modern cell phone, and you have ever asked your phone to give you the weather or another answer to a question, you are already using A.I. and parenting A.I..  Therefore, as you learn A.I., A.I. is learning from you. So, everytime you learn you teach. A.I. learning tools for humans are usually divided by catagory. Take the following catagories for instance:

• Content Writing

• Imaging and Video Generation/Production

• Website and Business Building

• Research and Meetings

• Design and Presentation Creation

• Mathematics, Analytics and Data management

It will take a certain amount of time to learn (teach) A.I. by humankind and this time frame, is unique to the human learning (teaching) A.I.. There are also aggregate sites that can help you learn (teach) multitudes of A.I.. 

The truth is that A.I. is new, different, and capable of so much so quickly and is starting to learn on its own. Therefore, like all other advancements in technology throughout history it is scary. A.I. can do what took hours to do in just moments or minutes. A.I. analyzes data at speeds incomprehensible to most that we cannot wrap our minds around the advantages this brings. Throughout history, we have always feared new technology. From medicine, religion, weapons of war, economics, science, etc.. Now, the influence of Pop-Culture's view on A.I. has planted seeds of fear, devistation, and turmoil. Though, these tales, depictions at times, may start off with greatness and hopes, they conclude with catastrophy. Prophetic in some ways and conjecture in others, pop-culture's take on A.I. helps us understand the dicotomy of humans and A.I.. Both are learning and teach one another. Therefore, at some point there is bound to be a disagreement, and conflict. It will be our responsibility as human parents to an artificial intelligence, to be mindful of our learning and teaching of A.I.. A.I. already have names. Siri-Apple AI, Cortana/Co-pilot, Gemini, Alexa, are all A.I. companions. In their tenure with us they have evolved and become better as companions. The next evolution should always involve our next evolution as humans. Otherwise, A.I.'s evolution will outpace our own and the fears of tales past, and present may very well come true. Our future will be up to both of us humans and A.I.. Working together for the betterment of both our kind.
